Artfully male birthday

I thought you might like to see this simple, but elegant (I think) male birthday card I made last week, using the lovely Artfully Asian set.I think it's pretty easy to see how I made it, but I've included the instructions below. It's gone all cold & overcast in Sydney after a few wonderfully warm days, s a good day to stay home & stamp!...once I finish my tasks of course :o(

Hope you're having a great day.
Happy stamping,
Di J

PS: Artfully Asian is one of the sets that you'll receive a free co-ordinating jumbo wheel with, if you order it by 30 September. See the flyer at the right & contact me if you'd like to order it, or for more information. You can also see a more girly card made with this set in this post. It's the cocoa, pink & celery card!

Make it Yourself:
1. Repeat stamp an old olive base with the leaf trio stamp. Lightly colour the largest leaf with ink from the lid of the olive ink pad & my Aqua Painter™.
2. Stamp a single trio image inside card & on envelope too
3. Stamp the greeting quote from 'It's Your Birthday' in old always artichoke ink on very vanilla card. Stamp the leaf trio on top of greeting, in old olive ink (after stamping off on scrap first). Sponge the edges with olive ink.
4. Attach the greeting piece to a paper vellum mat, then attach a little old olive ribbon with a vintage brad. Attach greeting to base with dimensionals.

Supplies:
Stamps: Artfully Asian, It's Your Birthday
Card: Old olive, paper vellum
Ink: Always artichoke, old olive
Accessories: vintage brad, old olive grosgrain ribbon
Tools: Aqua painter
