Hello Spring Blooms

Well I'm finally back with a happy Spring project to show you. This was one of the cards we made at my Hello Spring class today, which featured lots of my favourite goodies from the Stampin' Up! Spring Mini Catalogue. Some fabulous Blooms die cuts (love, love, love these!) & styled silver hodgepodge brad (ooohhh!) take centre stage. The Blooms are so much fun to play with & look amazing teamed with the Summer Picnic paper...& did I mention that they're made of textured cardstock....mmmmm.
The flowers are layered & popped with dimensionals & the stem is always artichoke grosgrain ribbon. I punched a circle window (1 3/8 in) in the front, so I could add a scallop circle, flower & greeting on the inside, using the Think Happy Thoughts set. For the class, I punched out the centre flower (3/4 inch circle punch), so it popped out of the window more.I really liked how it turned out as it's just such a bold & happy card & the guys at the class did too. Hope you're having a great weekend. I'll be back tomorrow or Monday with the second class project.
Happy Stamping
