In review - Flower Shop flip thinlits card

Somehow I missed sharing one of the thinlits flip cards from my November class, so here it is with my fave Flower Shop flowers adding lots of pretty. Hope you like!
This card is an extended version of the flip card, as it has a folded panel on the right side of the card to give extra room to decorate or write a bigger message. You can see it better in this pic (with the rich razzleberry spot paper).
Did you see? - the curled top flower slightly overlaps the flip panel to help keep the card closed but doesn't stop it opening. Don't you love a happy accident :-)
Make an extended  flip card
It's really easy - make your base piece of card the same width as a regular card (21cm), but make the height a smidge shorter than the die height (13.8cm). Then, place the card piece in the thinlits card die, so that it cuts the shaped flip section, but leave the right edge over the top of the die so it doesn't get cut by the die. This a pic of the inside shows the matching inside sentiment & extended panel (with white card). If you'd like more info on how to make the extended version, just leave a comment.
Here's one more pic showing the folding panel before it flips. The co-ordinated sentiments from 'Remembering Your Birthday' are perfect for flip cards...or anytime you want to carry a theme through to the inside of a card

I really liked how this turned out - very clean & simple, but pretty thanks to the gorgeous flower stamp & happy strawberry slush & rich razzleberry colours... & did you notice the washi tape adding some extra detail down the front left side & on the white panel.
Want to see more flips - You'll see this class Christmas version & more flip cards here in case you missed them:-)
That's it for me today. Thanks for visiting & remember to add a comment to say hi. I love hearing from you all. Back soon with another fun flip card.
Inky wishes, Di
