Watercolor Wonder Note Cards Class

Today I'm sharing the projects from  my Watercolor Wonder Note card class in April. We made 5 cards - each using a different base from the Watercolor Wonder card pack & different techniques. There are lots of pics so lets get started with the sharing...
Card 1 - The pretty flower & leaves from Peaceful Petals was heat embossed in white on watercolour paper & watercoloured with an aquapainter, tangerine tango & gumball green ink pads. I think this one's my fave of the group...maybe.
Card 2 - More watercolouring with Peaceful Petals. This flower was stamped in black stazon & coloured with daffodil delight & gumball green ink.
Card 3 - For this one, I cut the note card in half & mounted it on a crumb cake base to make a larger card. The Vivid Vases stamp is inked with stazon ink & watercoloured. I added stems to the inside of the vases, so that I could create the look of water in clear vases & a horizontal line between the vases to ground them on the page. Bakers twine adds a little extra texture.
Card 4 - This one is super quick & easy. I stamped the swirl (Everything Eleanor) in gumball green on top of the colourwash look base. Then, stamped & punched out Petite Petals flowers & added a sentiment (Regarding Dahlias). This was inspired by an idea from Patty Bennett.
Card/s 5 - the gals chose to make 1 of these cards, since I couldn't decide which I liked more. Both use images from Chalk Talk  stamp & die bundle. We converted the note card into a regular sized card by cutting it down (9 x 13.3cm to suit a regular half A4 base), hiding the initial score line under the ribbon & adding some extra mats to step up the design. Here's a closer look at the stamped elements.
I cut around the stamped image, then cut another tag using the matching framelit die to add some depth. A Petite Petal flower adds a bit more pretty. We cut out the stamped image for the second version & added a cut frame too.
After seeing the finished cards, I thought you might be wondering what the basic Watercolor Wonder Note Cards look like. So here they are, a-la-naturel.
The pack includes 20 watercolour paper note cards (4 each of 5 patterns), plus envelopes for just $22.95 (plus s&h). The cards are printed front & back for a really finished look & are really sturdy to use as card bases. You can make twice the cards by cutting them in 2 to use on a regular card base (as I did with card 3). You'll find them in our Occasions Catalogue or here in my online store.
These brilliant cards (& Peaceful Petals stamp set) will probably only be available until 30 June, when the Occasions Catalogue ends, so please make sure you order by then if you love them too.

Thanks for visiting & I hope you've enjoyed seeing what we made. If you have any questions, just drop me a line or leave a comment.
Inky wishes, Di
