Embossed flowers for Mum's Day... or a wedding?

Today, I'm sharing a soft, pretty card we made at the end of April at my Mother's Day - ladies only class. It's also new challenge day at Just Add Ink & this week's challenge is to Just Add a Wedding. Sadly, I ran out of time to make a card for this challenge but now looking at this card, I think it could work for a wedding too. What do you think?
The sentiment & large flowers are heat embossed which gives them a lovely shine & tactile feel. The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics & the flowers are from a beautiful floral & lacy set called Petal Potpourri, in the Occasions Catalogue. I teamed these with some smaller flowers from Petite Petals, Something Borrowed DSP & gorgeously blingy jewel embellishment (our wedding collection suite). Sadly & to my total shock, none of these goodies will be carrying over to the new annual catalogue, so June 2nd will be your last chance to get them. See the supply list below to see & order these goodies.

I liked the card so much that I made this one for my own wee Mum. I used another paper design from The Something Borrowed DSP pack & a retired Mother's Day sentiment. I punched 2 centres from the flowers & curved the edges to give a more rounded look rather than using the bling.
So, are you sad too about these lovelies not going into our new catalogue? If so, make sure you order them soon. I'll be back next time with the second card from the class & it's a fancy fold.
Until then, inky wishes, Di
