JAI 333 Just Add G for gingerbread

This week we have a new letter challenge at  Just Add Ink & Tina wants us to just add something beginning with G. I chose....gingerbread & made a few goodies with the cute gingerbread stamp from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp & punch bundle.

First up is this card with a sweet gingerbread pair stamped in soft suede ink.

This one became one of my cards for my first Christmas class of this year as I really liked how it turned out. First, I dressed up the punched gingerbread using the stamped & punched bow & punched heart from the bundle.

The 'frosting' patterned dsp pairs nicely with the iced gingerbread. This is from the Candy Cane Lane dsp pack (part of our buy 3, get 1 free offer in October).
I repeat stamped the piece of kraft cardes behind the gingies with a sentiment from possibly my all time favourite Christmas. sentiment set yet - Wonderful Year. I've used two more of these stamps inside the card. LOVE!

The gingerbread people are super cute for coordinated tags too. The right & left tags are stamped in soft suede & the middle one in crumb cake.
I cut the tags from scraps of crumb cake & white card which I punched with the scallop tag topper & corner rounder punches. Some Candy Cane Lane washi, twine & dsp adds some fun details.

the happy face sentiment is also from Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle.

The little house is fussy cut from a piece of Candy Cane Lane dsp & to/from sentiment is from Cookie Cutter Christmas.

I used a sentiment from Tin of Tags for this tag & crumb cake ink for this gingerbread.

Treats too

Gingy (& his friends from the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle) are also brilliant for little Christmas treats for school mates. This gingerbread gained a Santa hat using the Jolly Hat builder punch & some red punched hearts to make him even more festive.

I filled 1 x 8 inch (2.5cm & 20cm) cello bag with yummy mint flavour Crispy M&Ms. This size cello bag was retired but packs of 50 are temporarily available at a bargain price on the SU Clearance Rack while stocks last. I have stocked up. Here's gingy close up.

Gingy is just one of the cute little Christmas peeps in the Cookie Cutter Christmas. I'll share some more of them through this month. For now, here's a final pic of all the gingy treats together.
Pin it for later inspiration & check out the supply lists below to see & order anything I've used.

Inky wishes,
Di
