Big birthday no-cut patterned paper folder

Early this year (ok, March) I ran a fun class based on those big events that generally include a number of some sort, like special birthdays, anniversaries etc.  Anyway I was looking for the project post & realised that I hadn't shared them - oops!

So, with no further delay, here's the first project we made - another of my fave no-cut patterned paper folders.

I decorated this one with a die cuts from the Lots of Labels die set & Number of Years stamps & Large Numbers dies (20% off until November 28th), which I heat embossed in silver.

Haven't seen my folders before? It's made simply by folding a 12x12 inch sheet of double sided patterned paper origami style - no cutting or gluing. I've been making these a long time & they're still a fave of mine & my class lovelies.

For this class version everyone chose their own paper sheet from the It's My Party paper pack (now retired), which resulted in lots of individual & fabulous folders. I've shared these at the bottom of this post.
Great news! - It's My Party is currently on the SU Clearance Rack for the small sum of $18.10 for 48 fab sheets of 12x12 inch paper, only while stocks last of course.

Anyway, back to the folder; the cards can be slipped out or adhered to the inside. I slipped them into this card. The left panel includes a pocket to slip in a gift card, ticket or other item. I normally write a message on the right side panel.

This is how it looks flat from the front.

Here's one more combined pic for you to pin for later iinspiration. Make sure you  check out the no-cut patterned paper tutorial pdf download in this post too.

Folders made by my class lovelies
Everyone picked their own papers to suit the person & occasion they wanted & they did a great job.

Last Confession - Tip
I cut up my 'It's time to celebrate with cake' stamp in the Party With Cake stamp set as I thought I'd use it much more that way. And I have! Since it's a clear mount stamp, I can just mount it together to use it together when I want to as well. Win-win!
This is where I cut it.

Back soon with another project. Thanks for visting today. Remember to pin my pics for later & don't miss getting up to 40% off during the Online Extravaganza sale - on until November 28th.
