I coloured the poinsettia image and the 'happy' die cut with my Stampin Blends markers.
- Flowers - Melon Mambo and Polished Pink, which blended beautifully together. The flowers are actually a brighter pink IRL but my camera was not playing nicely. The little round flowers have a touch of Pool Party on them.
- Leaves are Just Jade and Mint Macaron.
- Happy - I started with a Soft Succulent die cut 'happy' then added a graduated colour look with the Just Jade Stampin' Blends. This helps it tie in to the green on the floral image too.
- Both the flower and happy have clear Wink of Stella on them to add essential Christmas shimmer. Basic rhinestones add some more.
Can you see that the happy die cut has a layer of vellum behind it. This adds such a pretty detail.
I love the pink paper print from the Whimsy & Wonder patterned paper pack. If you love non traditional colours with traditional images and pretty, iridescent shine, then this is a must have pack for you.
Inside there's another partial image and two sentiments from Words of Cheer. This set has so many great mix and match sentiment options for the front and inside. Click on the pic of the bundle for a better view.
I hope my card has given you some ideas to try. If you prefer a more traditional colour-way, it would look great too. Order the supplies you need to make your own version from my store.
Happy stamping & inky wishes
