Hello & welcome. Today I'm sharing a sweet tea cup themed card using the new Cup of Tea stamp set and bundle. This is my Design Team project for this week's Just Add Ink challenge, which is a sketch with many, many possibilities. I hope you like how I used it.

I started with a lovely Pale Papaya gingham print paper from the retiring gorgeous Pansy Petals paper pack, which I embossed with the retiring & sold out Tasteful Textiles embossing folder).

I chose to use layers of hexagons to represent the two circles in the sketch. This was inspired by a beautiful wedding invitation we received that included overlapped hexagons. I created my own version by cutting & adhering multiple hexagon frames using the two largest hexagon dies in the Beautiful Shapes die set.

I took a little liberty with the horizontal line in the sketch to include the die cut cup in the same position. To make the cup, I cut and adhered two white cup die cuts then adhered the navy detailed outline. Then, I used Pool Party & Pale Papaya Stampin Blends markers to partially colour in the cup.

The sentiment (also from Cup of Tea stamp set & bundle) is stamped on a white hexagon & adhered in the centre of the layered hexagons.

The final details cements the theme - two cute die cut teabag tag shapes and hearts tied with Linen Thread, crinkled white seam binding ribbon, and petal pink Polished Dots.

Inside is the stamp equivalent to the die cut. Fun!
