I made a tea themed card for a friend using the Cup of Tea stamp set and bundle and new In Color Stampin Blends markers. I do love a cup of tea and of course time shared with friends is the best... and don't drink coffee (shocking I know to some of you). This card was inspired by some treat boxes I made for last weekend. Here's how the card turned out. See the projects that inspired it later in this post.
The two cups are from the Cup of Tea bundle. Both images are stamped in Starry Sky - a gorgeous clean, deep blue from our new In Color 2022-24 collection. I coloured the leafy cup using two more new In Colors - Tahitian Tide (a gorgeous bright aqua) and Parakeet Party (a light lime green). The teabag image is also stamped in Parakeet Party & cut with the coordinating die.
The pierced banner and circle dies are from my still new favourite die set, Stylish Shapes. I love they have piercing on both the positive and negative cuts, as it gives so many more options.
Finally, both the leafy Starry Sky & white paper and the lime strip is from the new Butterfly Kisses paper pack. It has lots of small pattern prints in lovely colours are well as the fun butterfly prints in it's title. I liked that the chosen leafy print are similar to the image on the cup.
Here's a closer look at all the main elements. These and all the supplies I used are listed and directly shoppable here in my SU website and store.
Winter Crafty Support Treat Box & Chocolate Wrap
After over two years, a pandemic, house sale, renovation, moving and more renovating, I was finally able to welcome lots of my cardmaking loving friends, customers and SU teamies to our new home last weekend for an afternoon tea of food, cardmaking and a lot of chatting. It was such a lovely day and made my heart happy to not only see everyone but to also see them so happy at seeing each other. Thanks to everyone who came.
Of course I had to make a little something for everyone. So I came up with a Winter Crafty Support Box containing some little treats. I made 15 pizza style boxes decorated with the cups, and coloured with different combinations of the 2022-24 In Colors.
Here are some of the boxes. I'm sure you can see now how I used the same cluster here and on the cards.
Inside there was a yummy Guylian chocolate - which matched the Orchid Oasis cardstock perfectly! - and a little lip balm and hand cream. The basic box is made with just under half an A4 card piece.
I'd also made some little wraps for the chocolate bars before I made the boxes. Who wouldn't love a cute chocky treat... that could be made into a card. ;)
Finally, here are all three designs together. I hope you've enjoyed seeing my tea and friend challenge card. Head to the Just Add Ink blog to see all the fun projects the team have created.
Thanks for visiting today. I hope you've enjoyed seeing my projects.

and shop the supplies you need to make your own versions.
I'll be back next time with something new. Until then,
What a gorgeous card - I love the colour combo! How delightful that the circular elements carry through to the inside, as well. I'm not a coffee drinker, either. Give me tea any day!
