Hello & welcome to this week's Just Add Ink Challenges Design Team share. This week is a sketch challenge. I'm focused on growing my Christmas card stash so that set my project theme. I created a fun fold called an accordion card with super cute reindeers from the Reindeer Days sticker sheet, Here's how it turned out.

It looks like a regular card when closed, but when it's opened you see the fold. Normally the narrow part covered with the Garden Green dotty paper is not attached to the front, but it worked better for the sketch when attached.

I saw this fold here on the fabulous Rachel Tessman's blog, and it's definitely one I want to try again. I adapted the measurements to suit our A4 card here in Australia.

This is how it looks inside...

and completely flattened out.

Details:

  • The adorable reindeer die cut is from the Reindeer Days sticker sheet, as is the 'merry merry' sentiment.  I have lots more bits to make into cards. More about that another time.
  • All the papers are from the Take a Bow paper pack.
  • The 'Christmas' die cut is from the Peaceful Season die set (& bundle).
  • The circle elements are from the Spotlight on Nature die set (& bundle), and Stylish Shapes die set.
  • The red & white peppermint embellishments add a fun, whimsical touch.
