KW’s Colour Challenge 24 – Always

Wow, I can't believe I've finally managed to complete one of Kristina's colour challenges. The timing has not been good for me for the last....too many. Anyway, you know the drill. Here's the inspiration pic & colours for this week:and here's my card.
The set I've used is 'Always' from the Spring Mini. I really love it, but I haven't gotten to use it much yet (ahh so many stamps, so little time!). I've substituted old olive in place of kiwi kiss too, since we don't have it in Aus yet.
The heart is clear embossed on very vanilla & sponged with pumpkin pie ink & the olive background stems have been stamped off first. The greeting has been inked separately & punched out with the word window punch. It's hard to see in the pic, but I glued 3 word windows together, so that it would pop more. I think the rest is pretty self explanatory.
I was pretty pleased with how it came out, especially since the little olive piece was pretty much my last scrap, until my next order arrives. Anyway, hope you like it.
Happy stamping!
Di
Supplies:

  11. A fabulous take on the colour inspiration Di! My favourite part is the white stamped layer on the plain white layer (does that make sense?) - simple but very elegant. Hope your Old Olive arrives soon! I don't do well with not having a stack of this colour on my shelf!!
