I thought this combo would suit a sweet friend of Cara's whose 16th birthday is today (I don't think she sees my blog, but shhhh as she won't get the card until tonight!). I took my lead from the blackberry & melon, using slate as a supporting player & made this very bold angled tri-fold card featuring Celebrate Today's brilliant balloons.
I was very much inspired by this lovely card by the fab Julie Kettlewell. Julie kindly shared her measurements & instructions in the same post too - thanks heaps Julie! Such an easy card but the angles really add drama & interest. Here's another view from the top so you can see the z-fold.
Here's a closer look at each of the panels - this one shows the front & 3rd panel. The middle panel doesn't need to be decorated (click on the pic for bigger images)
