Hello and welcome! Today's share is another turtle card made with the Sea Turtle stamp set. This is the first of two turtle started out with leftovers from making this sea turtle shadow box card and other random scrap, You know I love to play with scraps.
I'm happy that the Sea Turtle set is carrying over to the new 23-24 Annual Catalogue so it will be swimming with us for a while yet. Sadly most of the other supplies I used - the Layering Diorama dies, and Paradise Palms stamp set (and coordinating Palms dies) and patterned paper are being discontinued.
Anyway I digress. Take a look at the finished card. I hope you like it.

The turtles were leftovers I didn't end up using on my shadow box card. I'd stamped the large turtle on soft sea foam cardstock using my Stamparatus using Parakeet Party, then Iand applied Granny Apple Green ink to sections using a blending brush. The small turtle is stamped in Parakeet Party. Both are fussy cut out.
I stamped the reversible coral stamp image in Tahitian Tide ink on white card then used a blending brush to add some light colour all over. Then I fussy cut it out too.
The white card base is covered in dotty Tahitian Tide patterned paper. Gosh I love this colour!
The sentiment from the Paradise Palms stamp set is stamped onto a white Layering Diorama shape, and I've layered different sized vellum diorama shapes behind it. I love the organic look and shading the vellum adds. I thought the Polished Dots (retired) gave a water bubble effect.
So that's scrappy card one! Watch out for the next one too.
Until then, thanks for visiting today and I hope my card gave you some ideas to try. Shop the supplies you need to make your own version here from my online store.
