Simple sea turtle card

Handmade card using stampin up Sea Turtle and Sending Smiles stamp sets. Card by Di Barnes - colourmehappy - indpendent demonstrator in sydney australia - cardmaking - stampinupcards - stamping
Hello and welcome! Today I have another card made with the Sea Turtle stamp set and mostly leftovers and scraps from my desk and scrap bits tub. Here's how it turned out.

Like yesterday's card, I started by creating a multi coloured turtle image. I stamped the turtle image using my Stamparatus and Coastal Cabana ink, then applied Starry Sky ink to the edges using a blending brush.

The Starry Sky circle creates a 'hole' for the turtle to swim into. The border die cut is from the Palms die set (sadly retiring this month) which adds a touch of Hawaii in my mind. The paper is Pool Party from the retiring Subtles paper pack.

The sentiment is from one of my faves - the Sending Smiles stamp set (& discounted stamp-die bundle - until May 2nd that is).

So that's it. I hope you've enjoyed seeing my turtle card ideas. I'm sure you'll see some more.
In the meantime, see and shop for the supplies you need in my online store.
