Hello and welcome! Today I have a bit of a different card to share, made for this week's Just Add Ink inspiration image challenge. This one definitely was a challenge as the image looked like something I'd be looking at as renovation ideas rather than to make a card.
After quite a bit of thinking I was drawn to the frame and back of the cabana structure, timber and touches of greenery, which gave me the idea to make fun fold card, using the Grove dies and Inspired Thoughts stamp sets.
It's a bit of a combination of a diorama style card and a bridge fold card, as the back pops out to give the scene a 3d look.
The beautifully detailed large Grove die creates all the detail, then Rectangle Stitched dies help frame the scene. The Grove panel is attached to a scored and folded base, which I covered in some retired Wood Textures patterned paper, black card panel and a partial Grove die cut using a leafy paper print from the retired Heart and Home paper pack.
Hopefully you can see the layers better here. I offset the leafy layer. I added another leafy die cut to the back of the white panel too.
The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set, another much used set. The sentiment on the inside is from this set too, teamed with the Sending die cut from the die set of the same name (& Sending Smiles stamp & die bundle).
The card folds flat for mailing too. It will need a custom envelope though as it's a little longer than a regular half A4 card.
I was happily surprised at how this came together, and think it works well as a neutral or guys/masculine card for birthdays Father's Day, as well as meeting the challenge brief. What do you think? When you finish here, head over to the Just Add Ink blog to see all the fab cards created by the team.
Check out and shop the Grove dies or any of the other supplies I used, here in my Stampin' Up! store too. We're in the last month of Sale-a-bration and there are even more free items to choose from now too.
Until next time, happy stamping!

Wow, what an awesome card! The scene you've created is fantastic. The layering and depth is excellent.
