It's colour challenge time this week at Just Add Ink & Kim wants us to use old olive, basic gray & whisper white in our projects.
I'm still very much in need of Christmas cards & the colours worked well for Christmas, so my Santa's Sleigh stamp & die bundle came to the rescue again & I made this card, of course featuring a reindeer or two.
After a series of really hot days in Sydney, a cool change finally
arrived overnight Thursday, which made taking photos more of a challenge
than usual so I tried a different tack with my pics. What do you think?
Anyway, back to the card... I may have a reindeer obsession. I created a little reindeer scene on the largest circle in the Stitched Shapes die set. These should be back in stock in January if you're eagerly waiting to get some.

It's weird seeing a project again in a photo. I realised I must have rearranged the layout a little when I stuck it down & doesn't look quite as I'd intended - which was a much tighter cluster for the tree & deer. I was obviously more tired than I thought when I finished it. Anyhow, it's done now & looks ok. The next version can be adjusted ;)
I replicated a simple scene right across the inside, adding a sentiment from the Stitched with Cheer stamp set. I've used this lots for sentiments so don't miss this one before it retires.
I have a few other Santa's Sleigh projects to share, which I'll try to do over the next few days. In the meantime you can see all my Santa's Sleigh projects here & pin this card for later too.
Now head over to the Just Add Ink blog & see all the team's projects, then try the challenge yourself & link up your own project.
Until next time, inky wishes, Di

I love how you've used the challenge colours on this card, Di - it's beautiful!
This is beautiful, Di! Those reindeer are too cute and the striped paper adds such a trendy look.
Oh wow, Di! I love your sweet reindeer - especially the silver one just peeking out from inbetween the other two. So sweet and the layers of DSP and embossing keep it so lovely and clean and fresh. xx
