Blendabilities colour sampler template pdf

I thought it would be useful to create a Blendabilities sampler sheet to easily see the individual marker colours, so, I created one. This is it!
Since my customers & fellow demonstrators might find this helpful too, I've shared them below, so you can download a pdf version. (SU Demos can also find them on Stampin' Connection).

Note: If you'd like to share this document with others, please share the link to this post, rather than hosting the document on your site. Please feel free to pin it too. I left it free of my demonstrator/blog details, so please respect the time & effort it took to create it. Thanks :-)

Note - google weirdness:
- When you view the pdf in google drive, the fonts look different....but should look like the above pic when you download it.

- Please don't request the Google drive option to 'share' the doc in google drive Just select the option to download it to your computer. Thanks.

Edited: 4 August 2014I've added a UK-European version above for my Euro demo cousins too.

EDITED 2 October 2014

Awesome news - Stampin' Up! has advised we can use some classic ink pads colours with Blendabilities. Here's what they said...

Stampin' Blendabilities are designed to work with our Memento Ink Pad. The markers also work well with several of our Classic Stampin' Pads, noted below. Keep in mind that colours not listed are prone to smearing and aren't recommended for use with Stampin' Blendabilities. Also, remember that you'll get the best blending results using Whisper White Cardstock, and when the stamped image is completely dry.
Classic Stampin' Pads:
Always Artichoke
Baked Brown Sugar
Blushing Bride
Calypso Coral
Coastal Cabana
Crisp Cantaloupe
Crumb Cake
Crushed Curry
Daffodil Delight
Garden Green
Hello Honey
Marina Mist
Melon Mambo
Lost Lagoon
Old Olive
Pear Pizzazz
Pink Pirouette
Pistachio Pudding
Pool Party
Pumpkin Pie
Sahara Sand
Smoky Slate
So Saffron
Soft Sky
Tangelo Twist
Tangerine Tango
Tempting Turquoise
Wild Wasabi
Wisteria Wonder

So you can keep all the relevant info in one place, I've updated my Blendabilities chart to list these compatible colours. Here's a pic of the documents.

First play - Blended Bloom & Blendabilities

Today, I'm sharing a couple of cards made on my first play with our new Blendabilites markers. Blendies (as I'm fondly calling them) open up a whole new world of colouring options, all of course in SU colours for matchy matchy girls like me. I'll share more info on Blendies below, but I know you're here for the pretty pics first, so here you go.
I've kept the card very simple, to let the flower shine. I wanted a soft, light flower, so I used the 2 lightest Calypso Coral pack markers, together with the Blush marker from the Skin Tone pack for the petals & and the skin tone mocha marker for the centre. Here's a closer look.
I've never used alcohol markers before, so was pretty pleased with this first effort. There's definitely a learning curve to find your favourite way to colour, so plenty of play time will definitely improve my technique.

Daffodil Blended Bloom

I coloured this flower using the Daffodil Delight & Pumpkin Pie marker packs & mounted it on a pool party hexagon hive panel, with some pretty paper from the Moonlight DSP stack & nee lost lagoon ribbon. Here's a close up of the flower.

Blendabilities Basics

Blendabilities are Stampin' Up! own exclusive range of alcohol markers, designed to add luscious & beautifully blended colour to your projects. Each marker has a brush and fine tip end & are a wonderful tool for anyone who loves to colour. Blendabilities come in a 3-pack of light, medium & dark shades (plus a 6 marker skin-tone pack) & work perfectly simple whisper white (or any SU) card. Use them to colour ribbon, on acetate & many other surfaces. Use our new black Memento ink pad to stamp images to be coloured. Please don't use staz on ink with blendies. It's alcohol based too, which means it will bleed & ruin your markers.
There are currently 12 Blendabilities colour packs & you can see them in the above pic. 6 packs are now available to order, with the remaining colours available to customers on 1 August. See the available Blendabilities here in my online store.
Check out this intro vid by Stampin' Up!'s lovely Carrie Cudney, to see them in action too.
I'm sure you'll see lots more Blendie projects coming as I get time to play. If you have any questions, about the cards or Blendies, leave me a comment or drop me a line.
Until next time, inky wishes, Di
