Have you heard the exciting news yet? Our new Stampin' Blends™ range of alcohol markers will be available for everyone to order on November 1st - just 10 days away. Yippee! I'm so excited.
Demonstrators were able to order Blends earlier this month (yes we're spoiled), so of course I had to get them all. So pretty! I've been having so much fun playing over the past week to get to know them better & am really loving creating with them. I think you'll love them too.
The Colours
There are 12 Stampin' Up!® exclusive colours in the range so far, each with a light and dark marker. To my eye, the dark marker is usually 'the' SU colour & the light marker is a lighter blendable shade.
Each colour will be available as a single marker or in a two marker combo pack. Two additional single marker colours will be available (ivory & bronze) plus a clear Color Lifter.
You can also buy the lot together! (Happy Christmas anyone?)
I've made this quick sampler to show all the colours. As well as being good colouring practice, my colour loving self just wants to look at how pretty they are. This was a first attempt so don't look too closely at my blending. Huge thanks to fellow demonstrator Shannon Jaramillo for sharing this fabulous idea.
From top to bottom, left to right, the colours are:
Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler
Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay
Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Old Olive
Bronze, Bronze/Ivory together, Ivory
Each flower shows one layer of the two marker shades separately (small & med flowers) & blended together (large flower).
Small flower: Centre - dark marker, Petals - light marker
Medium flower: Centre - light, Petals - dark
Large flowers: 1 full layer - light, then dark shading, blended with light.
PS. The stamp images are from the Falling Flowers stamp set. A gorgeous & easy one to start colouring with. Coordinating dies are available too.
This video will give you more of a taste of our Blends in action.
Colour Me Happy Project Kit & Stamps
Stampin' Up! have created a fabulous stamp set & project kit to help you get started with your Blends in style, & I'm thrilled that both the stamps & kit share the same name as my little old blog - Colour Me Happy. How exciting is that. 😄 I'll share the full kit with you once it's available, but I've been playing with both this week too so keep an eye out for some projects soonish.
Want to win some Stampin' Blends?
Stampin' Up! are running a Stampin' Blends giveaway until November 1st here on the Stampin' Up! Sth Pacific Facebook Page. You could win the whole collection, or a combo pack of Blends, so check out all the details. Good luck.
My Stampin' Blends™ Colour Sampler Chart
I love colours & organising so I've created a colour sampler chart as a reference for each marker shade. I'll be providing one of these to each customer who purchases Blends when they're available.
I'm sharing it now as I know there are lots of Demonstrators out there who like to be organised too. Pin the chart for later when you'll have your own Blends too. This is what the blank chart looks like.

Thanks Di - very useful.
Thank you so much for making this color chart. Also what a great way to practice your blending. I love the cards you made, will be casing them soon! My husband was worried I was printing the already colored color chart. LOL! That wouldn't be any fun.
Thanks for creating these Di... very useful! And thanks even more for the territory conversions!
Your samples look great Di! And how generous of you to share the colour chart! Stampin' Up! did well to 'choose' your blog name for the bundle - that is lovely!! Sherylee.
You're a champion. Thanks so much for creating and sharing this chart Di! Very much appreciated.
