Hello & welcome! Today I have a happy little thank you card for you. This is my Just Add Ink Design Team project for this week's colour challenge - Polished Pink, Pale Papaya & Black - suggested by Lou.

Polished Pink and Pale Papaya are two of our newest In Colours and this is the first time I've used them together. I think they work really well for the flowers on the pretty, detailed Daisy Garden image.

Here's my finished card.

Daisy Garden is a larger than a full card front background stamp and is so lovely to colour.

The daisy flowers are so pretty coloured in.

Card Breakdown

Main Image - Stamp with Memento Black ink pad. I left some white space on the left on my card front. Colour the flowers in the complete image with light Polished Pink - no need to blend as they'll be mostly covered by the fussy cut flowers.

Colour & fussy cut flowers - Stamp a second image then colour the flowers using Stampin Blends alcohol markers, and fussy cut them out. I used light & dark Pale Papaya for the centres, and light & dark Polished Pink. It felt a bit weird to not colour the stems and leaves but I like the clean look now it's complete.

Layer up - Adhere the stamped background onto a piece of Basic Black card then adhere to card front.

Add Dimension - Create dimension on the fussy cut images. I place them on a Stampin' Pierce Mat and burnish the back of the flower petals to curl the edges, then turn over to the right side and burnish around the centre. Apply Dimensionals around the edge and a Mini Glue Dot in the centre then place on top of images.

Sentiment - The 'thanks a bunch' sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set was perfect to use with the daisies. I cut it out with a simple stitched rectangle die from the Ornate Layers die set. I hadn't even realised it was in there with all the other showy dies but it worked perfectly. I layered it on Dimensionals, added a little strip of Pale Papaya.

Bling - Some little In-Color Jewels in Pale Papaya add some finishing sparkling.

Inside there's a coordinating panel with a partial image.

Your card is gorgeous, Di! I love how the flower on the right overhangs the edge of the main panel. So pretty!

Thanks so much, Tina. I’m not the biggest fussy cutting fan but the flowers do look better cut out & popped. 😁
