Hello & welcome to this week's Just Add Ink Challenges Design Team share. This week is a colour challenge with a definite Christmas vibe so I went with a Christmas card with a fun fold using the Season of Elegance paper to carry the colour theme. This is my first Christmas card of 2025 too. Yay for Christmas in July. Here's how my card turned out.
This is how if looks when flat.
The Season of Elegance foiled paper really was my starting point and
star of the card as the papers include all of the challenge colours. I
used the Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake/Basic Beige sheets.
It's so fabulous and and very hard to photograph.
I die cut 'merry' into a Cherry Cobbler piece using the Alphabet a la Mode dies, backed it with a piece of the Crumb Cake piece, then attached it and a strip of Old Olive paper to the front section of the base. Then cut tree shapes from the Greetings of the Season die set (retired and sold out sadly) and mounted them onto the front, together with a sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set (still available as of now - yay!).
The inside includes elements of the front too.
So that's my challenge card. I hope it inspires you to get creating yourself. Head to the Just Add Ink blog to see all our challenge cards using these colours, and add your own. Leave a comment if you have any questions about my card.
You'll find a full supply list for all available items here in my Stampin' Up! store.
Thanks for visiting today. Until next time, happy stamping.
