Christmas in August – Season of Joy

Christmas started for me last month, with my first Christmas Stamp-a-Stack (SAS) classes for the year. I also ran the same class for a second group of lovely ladies this week, so I wanted to hold off posting the cards on my blog until now. This is the first design we made, using the funky 'Season of Joy' set from the Spring Mini & my favourite wheel of the year, 'So Swirly'. The colours are ruby red, wild wasabi, certainly celery & whisper white. If you'd like more information on my SAS classes or anything else, just send me an e-mail.

Make it yourself:
  1. Wheel ruby red base with 'So Swirly' wheel & ruby red ink.
  2. Attach strip of celery designer series Prints paper to base.
  3. Crimp wild wasabi card & attach 1cm strip to base.
  4. Ink up tree with wild wasabi ink pad & summer sun Stampin' Write marker. Stamp on whisper white card & mat onto wild wasabi piece. Attach to base with dimensionals.
  5. Punch out ruby red large oval. Stamp greeting ('Short & Sweet') in ruby red ink on whisper white card.
  6. Punch out with small oval punch & mount on red oval with dimensionals. Attach to base.
Supplies:Stamps: So Swirly jumbo wheel, Season of Joy, Short & Sweet
Card/Paper: ruby red, wild wasabi, Celery Prints designer paper
Ink: ruby red & wild wasabi classic ink pads, summer sun Stampin' Write marker)
Tools: Jumbo Stampin' Around® handle, crimper, large & small oval punches

Want more swirls? If you love the 'So Swirly' wheel, then check out this post for information on how you can get it for free in September, when you buy the gorgeous 'Priceless' bundle. If you'd like to see more projects made with 'So Swirly & Priceless, you can also look here.
I'll be back tomorrow hopefully with the second SAS card.
Happy stamping
Di J
