JAI 470 Just add no stamping - starry double easel 18th

I'm happy happy happy to be sharing a starry 18th birthday project for today's new Just Add Ink challenge - just add no stamping. No stamping!? No problem I say.

I'd been hoping we'd have stitched stars in the Christmas-Holiday Catalogue (starting 4 September), & was super excited to see there's a FABULOUS bundle called So Many Stars. I was able to pre-order the bundle (you can too when you join SU this month) and thought it would be perfect for the no stamping challenge. I also added a fancy fold - this time a double easel card in landscape mode.

This card is all about dies - Stitched Stars, Well Written words, and my retired Large Numbers, combined of course with the Subtle embossing folder.

How cool is the white trail of stars?! I can see that getting a whole lot of use for all sorts of cards.

I didn't use the So Many Stars stamp set from the bundle today, but you'll see it's a Christmas set. However I think it will be an all year round must because stars are so multi purpose. It will certainly get a LOT of use from me for Christmas, as stars are one of my favourite Christmas images.

Speaking of getting a lot of use, do you LOVE the foil colours too? They're from the Noble Peacock foil sheet pack and have such a beautiful shine. The sheets are really sturdy too so are great for 3d elements too. Some navy gingham provides some more interest at the back too.

Here's how all the panels look flat.

So that's my 'no stamping' card. What do you think? Head over to the Just Add Ink blog to see
all our design team projects. We'd love to see what you can create for the challenge too.

Is So Many Stars on your shopping list? I think it's a total must have, so get ready to order it on September 4th. You can order all the other supplies you need to make your own version now, so see the supply lists below to order.

Thanks for visiting today. Can't wait to share more projects with you soon.
Happy stamping & inky wishes,
Di

So Many Stars was the top of my list - such a wonderful bundle! I love how you've used the dies, especially the swoosh of stars. I think that's my favourite die in the set. Stunning card!

Di this is fabulous - I LOVE it! I did pick up this set on my pre-order, although I'm wishing I had the foils as I have a male 18th birthday card to make this weekend and feel a CASE coming on!!
