JAI 611 sketch challenge - Sending thanks card

Hello & welcome! Today's project share is for this week's Just Add Ink challenge - a sketch challenge suggested by me. Its simplicity gives so many possibilities.

I used elements already on my desk from other creating, including the fabulous Hues of Happiness paper, Sending Smiles stamps and dies bundle and Amazing Year stamp set (both of which I used for last weekend's class too - projects coming soon). Here's how it turned out.

Pretty Papers - I still can't get enough of the Hues of Happiness paper (after making this set of cards). This time I chose the print with a rainbow of tiny florals on a navy background. I ran this through the retired Subtle embossing folder and adhered to a thick white base.

The watercolour wash print worked well for the banner element in the sketch. I backed this with foam sheeting to make it pop and sturdy.

Sending Smiles sentiment - The two layer 'sending'  die gives such a fab effect teamed with the supporting thank you sentiment and banner from the Sending Smiles bundle. You must check it out (below & in supply list here) as there are so many useful sentiment options for you in it.

Heat embossed flower bouquet - This stamp set caught my eye straight away in the Annual Catalogue and the bouquet worked really well as the challenge element.

I used my Stamparatus to easily create navy heat embossing using Versamark, Night of Navy ink and clear embossing powder. I coloured the embossed image with Stampin' Blends markers - Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Polished Pink and Granny Apple Green.
