Hello & welcome to this week's Just Add Ink Challenges Design Team share. This week is a colour challenge to use Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Pretty in Pink and white in a project. The inclusion of pink and red together was a bit of a puzzle but I thought a beach theme could work. I teamed the Beach Day stamps and dies with some striped papers, and this is how it turned out.
Details
- The Lifesaver tower (with stairs cut off), unbrella and deck chair are stamped in Night of Navy and coloured with Stampin' Blends (Pretty in Pink, Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler).
- The sentiment is also from Beach Day, It fits the Stylish Shapes circle die.
- Pretty in Pink striped paper from the In Color stack and navy striped paper from the Countryside Inn pack. I always think stripes give a nautical vibe.
- So Swirly embossing folder - for a watery look.
Inside has coordinating sentiments and some more umbrellas and a deckchair, to finish off the card.
