Hello & welcome to this week's Just Add Ink Challenges Design Team share. This week's challenge was set by me, to choose two of elements from either rainbows, flowers, or shimmer. I couldn't resist creating a rainbow as they're one of the things that always makes me smile. Another favourite is butterflies so they made it onto the card too. Here's how it turned out.

Details

Rainbow: I used all ten dies in the online exclusive Everyday Arches dies. I nested and taped them all together with washi tape then cut them all out in white cardstock. This gave me nine layers.

I coloured each of the nine layers with light and dark Stampin' Blends then adhered them together at the back. In order, the rainbow colours are Real Red, Melon Mambo, Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Summer Splash, Azure Afternoon, Petunia Pop, and Fresh Freesia.

Butterflies: The three butterflies are cut from iridescent glimmer paper (retired) using the Beautiful Butterflies dies.

Sentiment: From the Flying By stamp set stamped in Night of Navy ink. I liked how it worked with the butterfly.

Background: The base and patterned paper is Balmy Blue, paper from the Subtles collection.

If you'd like to try recreating my card, check out the supplies you'll need here in my Stampin' Up! store.

Until next time, happy stamping.
