It's a big week at colour me happy, as our darling girl started her final HSC exams yesterday, however I did sneak some time to make a card for this week's new Just Add Ink challenge, using this sketch suggested by Tina.
I went Christmassy for my card, using a brand new suite release coming for November only.
The beautiful snowflakes are from the Snowfall die set, which includes 20 snowflake dies of all sizes. Here's a closer look.You can see them all in the flyer near the bottom of this post.
The centre of the large snowflake is solid and there's a coordinating intricate die that's overlaid. other linked smaller dies are part of a lovely snowflake flourish. You can see the complete flourish inside the card.
I've used a starry night themed paper from my favourite Twinkle Twinkle paper pack for a quick and easy inked background look. I replicated the sketch panel with some translucent vellum and silver foil.
The sentiment from the Nothing Sweeter - Sweetly Stitched bundle (Holiday Catalogue) is heat embossed it in white.
Inside, the swirly sentiment is from the Snow is Glistening stamp set, which is also a November only release. See it in full below in the Snowflake Showcase flyer.
I added some detail with the snowflake flourish die - cut out and re-inserted it in the space.
