JAI 511 inspiration challenge - happy news

Today I get to share two things with you - First, my Design Team project for this week's Just Add Ink inspiration challenge, and two, a favourite plant.

First the challenge - Rachael asked us to create a project inspired by this pic featuring a fab pair of Sansevieria  plants. I'd love to have these at my place as they're one my fave indoor plants  - they're so sculptural and even better almost impossible to kill.  Now what to do for the challenge? The Boho Indigo Medley and Forever Greenery paper from the new Annual Catalogue came to the rescue and I made this.

JAI 509 colour challenge - amazing woman

It's colour challenge week at Just Add Ink and this time I've chosen a colour combination of Highland Heather, Pool Party, So Saffron and Crumb Cake for the team to use.

I can't remember what inspired me to choose this combo but looking at again I thought it would be make a soft and pretty card  for a dear and amazing friend. My Ornate Style bundle features a beautiful floral bouquet image so it got its first inking.

Poppy shadow box birthday card

Hello and welcome.

I'm going back in time again today to share a shadow box card we made at my Peaceful Poppies Poppies suite class back in March. Seems an eternity ago.

You know I love a fancy fold and this is a fun one I haven't made in a while.

Pineapple pop up window birthday card

My darling girl had her 19th (!) birthday at the beginning of May so I thought you might like to see the card I made for her.

I was in my Timeless Tropical phase and feeling a bit nostalgic about Hawaii where we've spent a couple of her birthdays when I made it, as it has quite the tropical vibe... and a pineapple.

It's also a pop up window card like I made for my May Stamping Sisters Tutorial bundle project too. I love that it looks like a normal card when closed but see lots of different elements when open.
