Hello & welcome. Today I'm sharing a project for Just Add Ink's 600th challenge. A major milestone worth celebrating.
The inspiration image has lots of lovely details and texture but did challenge me, as the colours are not my fave choices. That said, the leaves reminded me of the beautiful Stitched Leaves dies so I've used these to create a card that fits the challenge in my style. I hope you like what I made.
I chose a clean take on the leaves and stripes in the image. The sentiment is from the every useful Peaceful Moments stamp set. Do you love the stitched details on the leaves as much as I do? I made the maple leaf the star, cutting it in gold brushed metallic cardstock. It's hard to capture the lovely subtle lines sheen IRL.
I hope you're inspired in some way by my challenge card. Head to the Just Add Ink blog to see all the different ideas the Design Team have come up with, and then try the challenge too. We'd love to see what you make.
Thanks for visiting today. Next time I'll share some other leafy projects. In the meantime, don't miss out on getting the Stitched Leaves dies at 50% off - see the supply list to shop my store.
Happy stamping & inky wishes
Di
Note: Retired or sold out supplies not listed. Alternatives provided on the list where possible.

I love your take on this challenge, my friend! The crisp white elements look beautiful with the starring gold foil leaf, and I really like that you embossed that gorgeous striped paper to give it texture. Lovely card. x
Thanks so much, my friend for your encouraging comment. I wasn’t sure it was going to come together but the foil leaf was I think the finishing touch it needed.
Hugs, Di
