Remember the whale card I shared a couple of weeks ago? I got a bit whale obsessed and made more cards - this time teamed with a paper print from the amazing Waves of the Ocean paper pack to create some fun watery scenes. Sadly this is a last hurrah for the paper as it's only available until 2 May. Get it now if you love it. Take a closer look at the cards:
Up first is a birthday card. It's a slimline card - the paper looked so cool I wanted to use as much as possible. I embossed it with the retiring Tasteful Textile embossing folder to make it more tactile and real looking. PS. the card front is 21cm x 10cm (approx 8-3/8 x 4 inches) and fits a DL business envelope.
The bold birthday sentiment - yes, my favourite Biggest Wish stamp set again, stamped in night of navy. The large, tall sentiment suits the long card.
Then there's our friendly little blue whale So easy to make a whole pod with the Whale punch. I wanted the whale to look like its swimming in the water.

Inside I used the large birthday sentiment from the retiring Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and snuck in another whale, because cute!
My second card is a simpler, regular sized card, but it still has the fabulous water look paper and a cute whale. The Hello sentiment is also from Biggest Wish and is stamped on a tag from the Tailored Tags die set.
Inside, of course another whale & hello.
So that's my pair of whale cards. This is a good pic to show the different sizes. I hope they give you some ideas to try. Be sure to get your Waves of the Ocean paper & all remaining retiring goodies before May 2nd when they go.
I'll be back with another project as soon as I can edit more pics! Until next time.
Happy stamping & inky wishes
