Hello & welcome to my sixth and last Sending Smiles series card post for now. I'm sure you'll see more of this fab bundle along the way, but for now take a look at this bright and happy card.
Background
Some of my fave papers (Butterfly Kisses & Tahitian Tide from the In-Color stack) create a fun look of grass & sky.

The leaves are stamped on white card in Parakeet Party ink, then I added some Watercolor Pencil shading, blended out with a Water Painter. You could use a Blender Pen too.
The flower heads were stamped in Polished Pink and Daffodil Delight ink then I added addtional details with Watercolor Pencils in slightly darker shades (Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral & Granny Apple Green).
The largest Stitched with Whimsy die frames the scene, fussy cutting around the stitched effect to create the wavy border - the Whimsy die only creates the stitching, it doesn't cut the outline. It is easy to cut though as the edge of the die embosses the card so it's easy to cut around.

Sentiment - The two Sending word dies are cut in Starry Sky and Vellum. I like the soft translucent look the vellum gives. I've stamped the love & hugs sentiment in Starry Sky, & snuck in more lovely butterflies.
So that's the last Sending Smiles card share for now. Thanks for visiting today and I hope you've enjoyed seeing the different looks and techniques shared. Do try them yourself too as it really is a fantastically versatile bundle.
