Hello and welcome! Today I'm finally sharing three more cards I made with the Beach Day stamps and dies - mainly the chair, umbrella, and surfboard images. I'm so glad they have carried over from the mini catalogue to the 24-25 Annual Catalogue. They're so useful and fun to create scenes with. Take a look. Card 1
This was another of my Beach Day class projects featuring some simple masking and blending techniques to create a beach and sky background.
This was another of my Beach Day class projects featuring some simple masking and blending techniques to create a beach and sky background.
The chair and umbrella were stamped in Memento black ink and coloured with Stampin' Blends markers (Daffodil Delight and Melon Mango). The palm tree was cut in Granny Apple Green and Crumb Cake cardstock, and we added some shading using the same colour Stampin' Blends markers.
Details: I love how the chair image fits so nicely in between the letters in the sentiment below, which is also from Beach Day.
Inside, there's another umbrella nestled in between two more sentiments from Beach Day.

Card 2
If one umbrella is fun, how about a rainbow of them?
Details:
The sand is made from the wavy die cut in the Beach Days die set. I used a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake card and ink to create shading.

The 'Birthday' die cut is from the Wanted to Say die set. It works really well with the sentiment fonts used in Beach Day. Inside we have another chair and umbrella.
Colourful surfboards are the focal point of this one, supported by the sand and sea die cuts. Ink blending on the sand, sea, and sky pieces too. Inside is very simple with another surfboard.
Here's a reminder of what you get in the Beach Day stamp set and Beach Day die set. Still a must for coastal dwellers.
