JAI 500 milestone blog hop - hello & thanks

It's time to celebrate a HUGE milestone at Just Add Ink - our 500th challenge. That's a lot of inspiration over the years so we're having a blog hop too!

JAI 499 colour challenge - thinking of you butterfly

It's colour challenge week at Just Add Ink and Rachael has given us a pretty pastel palette to work with. I don't know that I'd have thought to combine them all on a project myself so it was a good challenge to try. I kept the design clean and simple to let the colours shine.

Out now! April Stamping Sisters Tutorial Bundle - Thankful

April 1st means we have a new Stamping Sisters tutorial bundle for you. All this month's projects are focused on thankfulness and gratitude.

Our world has changed hugely over the past months, with many challenges for the forseeable future, yet there's still so much to be thankful for, and a perfect time to let people know how much you are thinking of and appreciate them.

JAI 497 sketch challenge - poppy birthday

It's sketch challenge week at Just Add Ink - gotta love a good sketch - and Kim has given us a fun geometric design to play with.

I'm still poppy crazy after playing with the Peaceful Poppies suite for my classes last week - Love it! Then I remembered there are poppy stamps in the Bloom and Grow stamp set/discounted bundle too so I paired them with the Painted Poppies bundle on my card.

JAI 495 Just add a rainbow... of music

This week at Just Add Ink challenges, Rochelle has asked us to Just Add a Rainbow. What a fun challenge and who doesn't love a good rainbow.

I created a card for my darling man, although you could use it for many other occasions.

My new Music from the Heart stamp set got it's first of many inkings. This set includes hand drawn music themed images - music notes, stave, piano, guitar, keyboard and lots of useful sentiments, both for everyday & when you need a fun music pun. See more about it at the end of this post.

My card is easy & pretty quick to make using minimal supplies. All the rainbow colours on the card are made with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

March Stamping Sisters Tutorial Bundle - out now!

It's March already and a new month means a new Stamping Sisters tutorial bundle. This month's theme is project for the girls - to show our friends, Mum's Sisters and all the wonderful women in our lives how much they mean to us. 

Of course the layouts and ideas used on the projects can be applied to lots of other projects too, so you'll definitely want to buy or earn the tutorials free.

JAI 493 - floral felt birthday

 It's time for a Just Choose Two challenge at Just Add Ink this week, which means we have to use two of the three challenge options on a project. I chose to use stitching and felt.

Koala Aussie wedding congrats z fold card

If you saw the koala baby card I shared last time and thought it was cute, hopefully you'll think today's is twice as cute, as it has two koalas!

That card was actually made before & inspired by today's - a fun, non-traditional themed wedding card, using Bonanza Buddies stamp set & bundle.

This in turn inspired my February Stamping Sisters Tutorial Bundle project - which has the same fun and easy fold - with a very different look. I love when ideas inspire others.

JAI491 - Bonanza Buddies koala baby

Looking for inspiration? Me too! This week's Just Add Ink inspiration image challenge is an idyllic beach scene and quite frankly where I'd much rather be this week.

Anyhow, I used the soft colours and textures in the scene to make this sweet koala baby congratulations card using the Bonanza Buddies stamp set and bundle.
